Community Renewal in Israel's Periphery

Since October 7th, and even more so after the end of the Iron Swords war, Hiburim B’Haklaut works for community renewal in Israel's border areas, on the Lebanese border, in the Gaza periphery, and in the Negev.

We work in cooperation with settlements, regional councils, and government ministries to bring young families to damaged settlements, accompany them, and address social and community needs in the field. We assist in initiating processes of organization, consolidation, and family accompaniment, from initial connection to actual absorption.

Alongside this, we lead agricultural settlement initiatives: practical assistance to farmers, succession generation projects, and national projects to return lands to cultivation, especially in border-adjacent areas where agricultural cultivation contributes to national security no less than it contributes to food security.

Whether bringing families, establishing Garenei Nahal groups, rehabilitating community and educational institutions, or developing joint initiatives with authorities and organizations, we believe in the power of connection between person, community, and land to build a better future in the State of Israel.
