Week of Connection to the Land

A multi-day program designed for educational institutions and non-formal frameworks, offering an educational-values experience of agricultural volunteering in a different area from the regular activity location. Within the program, students or participants go out for three to four days of continuous agricultural work, usually in the North or South, with the goal of deepening youth connection to the land.

We at Hiburim B’Haklaut take care of the entire logistical framework; from the agricultural response itself, through accommodation, transportation, meals, and guidance, to content workshops accompanying the group along the way. This is an opportunity to experience an empowering and meaningful values experience of leaving routine and developing personal and group responsibility.

As part of practically operating the volunteer arrangement in agriculture, we want to connect volunteers also spiritually and educationally to agriculture.

We create a pool of various lecturers on relevant topics, as well as frameworks and content that can be implemented in classroom and field.

Peak days and work weeks – will include content integration according to the group, thoughtfully integrated with schedule and transitions between units.

Content leadership will be in combination between Hiburim instructors connected to the agricultural world bringing their experience and belief, and educators leading and accompanying the class.
